There’s a bomb on board!
A Ryanair plane flying from Paris to Dublin was escorted to Prestwick Airport near Glasgow by three RAF tornado jets after a message was found in a magazine saying there was a bomb on board.
The plane with 172 passengers, including 71 students from a girls secondary school in Carlow, was searched and no bomb was found. The plane then continued on its journey and arrived in Dublin at 11:30 last night. It has not been found out who planted the hoax bomb warning.
